Day 18

               Lord, God I know that if I am willing, You will lead me. You lead me through trials and tempests, when there appears no way, You make a way. Lord, you lead to still waters, waters of refreshment and encouragement. I know that You lead me when the road is long, dusty, flat and unchanging. These times are sometimes the hardest paths for me to traverse because of their mundane, unending nature. Thank You Lord when You lead me to the mountaintop experiences, where I can almost see You and Your grandeur. I also fully believe that You will lead me through the shadow of death, whether for me or for a loved one. This is the greatest promise that faith in Your Son as Savior and Redeemer assures me as I move towards the end of this brief life You have given. Amen.
