Day 17

               Lord God, I am reminded of Your might and power in the springtime storms that ravage the land. I cannot fathom how much You hold back nature and keep in check the terrible strength of Your mighty hands. Much is made about Your grace and love as well it should be but also much should be made about Your immense wrath. I cannot imagine what the world would look like without the salvation from Christ and the indwelling of Your Holy Spirit. God, help me to respectfully be in awe of the wrath that You choose to place on Christ at the cross. I can never know the full wrath He suffered as He finished the atonement for my sin. Thank You Jesus for Your willing sacrifice and Your free gift which delivered me from Your Father’s wrath. Thank You also that You continue to hold all things in place until the appointed time to come and claim Your own. In Jesus name.
